Job summary

Hose Master, LLC, based in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a Machinist/Tool and Die Maker to machine precision components to tight tolerances. Responsibilities include constructing tools, reviewing specifications, and operating machinery such as CNC lathes and mills.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in a machine shop environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 70 pounds.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Construct new tools and dies as required.
• Review drawings and specifications.
• Design jigs and fixtures.
• Set up and operate machines like drill press, engine lathe, and CNC.
• Inspect parts using calipers and micrometers.

Skills

Experience in a machine shop environment

Familiarity with CAD/CAM and G code programming

Ability to understand and follow English instructions

Good basic math and algebra skills

Ability to manage and schedule multiple priorities

Ability to use hand and power tools

Education

High school diploma or GED

Tools

Basic tools such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators
