Job summary

Justrite Manufacturing Co LLC in Wellsburg, WV is seeking an experienced Machinist/Tool and Die Maker to design, build, and repair precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing processes. You will read blueprints, operate lathes, mills, drills, and grinders, and ensure accuracy with precision measuring instruments.

Ideal candidates have ≥3 years in a machine shop, CAD/CAM familiarity, and strong attention to detail, with ability to work independently and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; tool and die training preferred.
• 3+ years in a machinist/tool and die maker role in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches, drawings, and manuals.
• Experience with lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail; able to work independently.
• Good communication and safety-conscious attitude.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specs to determine tolerances.
• Design and build precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Set up and operate machine tools to produce precision parts.
• Select cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and accessories.
• Measure and mark dimensions; verify conformance with instruments.
• Repair and maintain tools, dies, jigs, fixtures as needed.
• Complete inspection reports and production logs; maintain safe area.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
