Job summary

Justrite Safety Group's Eagle division in Wellsburg, WV is seeking an experienced Machinist/Tool and Die Maker to design, build, and repair precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing.

You will read and interpret blueprints, set up lathes and grinders, select tools, and verify tolerances with micrometers and calipers. The role requires independence, attention to detail, and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Machinist/Tool and Die Maker.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, sketches, drawings and manuals.
• Experience with lathes, milling machines, drill presses and grinders.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Design and build precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders.
• Select cutting tools and fixtures for each job.
• Measure and mark dimensions for machining operations.
• Verify conformance using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Repair and maintain tools, dies, jigs, fixtures as needed.
• Complete inspection reports and production logs.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
