Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years experience in automotive maintenance/repair, diesel engine maintenance/repair, heavy equipment maintenance/repair, commercial/industrial maintenance HVAC, aviation, refrigeration, plant maintenance, as a machinist, machinist mate, or similar experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, groom and test the ship’s major mechanical components and systems.
• Work on commercial or naval ships in various stages of new construction, overhaul or repair.
