Qualifications

• Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Experience in mechanical concepts (e.g., Automotive Repair, Plant Maintenance, Machinery Installation/Repair) or relevant tools or techniques.
• Experience with HVAC systems or parts.

Responsibilities

• Install, groom, test, and repair a ship's major mechanical components and systems.
• Work on commercial or naval ships in various stages of new construction, overhaul, or repair.
• Operate a wide variety of tools and machinery ranging from basic hand tools to precision equipment.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safety and quality standards during maintenance.
