Job summary

Aerotek in Brighton, MI is seeking an experienced Mill/Lathe Machinist to set up and operate manual and CNC lathes and milling machines, reading blueprints to produce precision parts in a fast-paced shop.

You will work with Mazak machines and Mazatrol programming, maintain tight tolerances, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes. This on-site role includes competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as mill/lathe machinist.
• Strong Mazak/Mazatrol programming experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings with tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC lathes or milling machines to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
• Select tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job to ensure quality and performance.
