The role focuses on setting up and operating manual lathes, mills, and grinders to produce precision parts from customer drawings with a strong emphasis on quality and safety.

The ideal candidate can work independently or in a team, maintains accurate production records, and adheres to company procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in a machine shop environment.
• Ability to operate manual lathes, mills, grinders or similar equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Use precision inspection tools like calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, and other machine shop equipment.
• Produce precision parts per drawings and specs.
• Perform turning, milling, grinding, cutting and related operations.
• Read engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Take measurements with calipers and micrometers and inspect parts.
