100Hires, Inc. is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist in Santa Clara to transform engineering drawings into precision components using manual turning and milling. You will own setup through final inspection, while upholding safety, quality and reliability.

You will read blueprints, apply tolerances, and use micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators to verify conformance in a fast-paced, shop-floor environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operating manual lathes and mills in a manufacturing or job-shop environment.
• Strong ability to read and apply engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and other inspection gauges.
• Safe and efficient in a fast-paced team setting.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate manual lathes and mills to meet drawing specs.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, dial indicators.
• Select and stage cutting tools and fixtures; adjust feeds and speeds.
• Maintain tooling and basic preventive maintenance.
• Contribute process improvements.
