Job summary

Lindt & Sprüngli (USA) Inc. is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to support a busy maintenance shop.

You will fabricate, repair, and modify precision components, using lathes, milling machines, grinders, and related tools while reading blueprints and specs to ensure tight tolerances. The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on machining in industrial settings, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work from drawings or verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on manual machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience operating manual lathes and manual milling machines.
• Ability to machine parts to close tolerances and verify with precision tools.
• Read blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions to determine dimensions and methods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipment.
• Fabricate, repair, and modify parts, tooling, guards, brackets, and shafts.
• Support repairs and maintenance by producing parts for equipment fixes and rebuilds.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, and materials.
