Job summary
Lindt & Sprüngli (Canada), Inc in Stratham, NH is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to support our industrial maintenance shop. You will fabricate, modify, repair, and reverse-engineer precision components essential to keeping production equipment running safely and reliably.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on machining, can read drawings, and works well in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with manual lathes and mills, and a good command of measurement tools, will help you
Qualifications
- Hands-on manual machining experience in industrial settings.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings.
- Proficient with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Experience machining to close tolerances.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines.
- Fabricate and repair mechanical parts and tooling.
- Support maintenance with parts for repairs and preventive work.
- Read drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.
- Inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized shop area.
