Lindt & Sprüngli Group in Stratham, NH is seeking a 1st shift Machine Apprentice specializing in manual machining. The role fabricates, repairs, and reverse-engineers precision parts based on drawings or verbal instructions, in a fast-paced industrial shop.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on manual machining experience, strong blueprint reading and measurement skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team to support maintenance and production needs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on manual machining experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience operating manual lathes and milling machines.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches and tolerances; excellent shop math.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, drills, grinders, and grinders.
• Fabricate, repair, and modify machine components and tooling.
• Read blueprints and measure parts to verify tolerances with precision tools.
• Support maintenance by producing parts for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect finished work for fit, finish, and conformance to specs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
