Job summary

MDC Precision, LLC, based in Hayward, California, is seeking a Production Employee for first or second shift. This full-time, non-exempt role involves operating machine tools and sustaining high-quality production in a safety-conscious environment.

You will tend machines, measure parts with gauges, and ensure conformance to specifications. The position requires 5-7 years of related experience and a solid knowledge of machining practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Proven ability to operate onsite machinery.

Responsibilities

• Tends machine tools, special machines, or robots to produce high vacuum components.
• Measures workpieces with micrometers, gauges, calipers to verify specs.
• Sets up and operates machines to saw, cut, punch, bend metal or plastic.
• Inspects and adjusts machines; replaces worn tools.
• Cleans and handles parts; maintains equipment.
• Adheres to safety rules and quality standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
