Job summary

Jasper Electric Motors seeks a skilled Machinist to operate manual lathes, vertical and horizontal boring mills, and milling machines at our Jasper, Indiana facility. You will set up and run a range of machine tools to produce precision parts and may fabricate or repair components as needed.

The role requires attention to measurements, tooling, and process standards, with on-site work Monday–Friday 6:00am–4:00pm and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Operate manual lathes, vertical and horizontal boring mills, and milling machines.
• Set up tools and fixtures to produce precision parts.
• Fabricate or repair mechanical components and maintain machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathe, milling and boring equipment to manufacture parts.
• Set up machines, measure parts and ensure tolerances.
• Perform other duties as designated by supervisor and follow safety guidelines.
