Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 2–5 years of manual machining experience preferred (oil & gas, power, heavy equipment, or automation & controls).
• Advanced knowledge of precision measuring tools (dial calipers, Vernier calipers, ID/MICS, depth mics, ball mics).
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and perform physical labor.
• Willingness to overtime, weekends and holidays as required.
• Certification to operate forklift, pallet jack, and crane.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to specifications using manual tools (drills, lathes, milling machines).
• Repair and restore parts to support turbocharger service business.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Conduct dimensional layout and ensure conformance to prints and routing instructions.
• Identify and apply multiple surface finishes as required.
• Deburr and stamp parts per specs and calibrate tools.
• Set up and align fixtures, tools, and materials on machines.
• Monitor feeds and speeds for proper operation.
• Maintain a clean work area and proper waste disposal.
• Read job cards for product details, instructions, specs, time, and quantities.
• Adjust offsets (wear, geometry, cutter compensation).
• Observe PPE and safety guidelines; operate machines independently.
