Job summary

Grundfos GmbH is seeking a skilled Machinist II to operate and set up manual and CNC machines, producing high‑quality components for pump solutions. You will interpret blueprints, hold tight tolerances, and support a diverse, inclusive culture focused on growth and well‑being.

The role emphasizes precision, GD&T, and the use of calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. This 2nd shift position offers flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed, with strong benefits and development

Qualifications

Detail-oriented machinist with strong blueprint reading skills.
Proficient in using precision measuring instruments to hold tight tolerances.
Experience setting up and operating both manual and CNC machines.
Knowledge of GD&T and geometric tolerancing is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate manual and CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and related equipment.
Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
Set up holding fixtures and cutting tools; secure materials and measure references.
Monitor and adjust machine operations to stay within tolerances.
Set up CNC machines with minimal adjustments while maintaining accuracy.
Deburr and inspect finished parts before progression to next stage.
