Job summary

ARCH Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced CNC machinist to set up and operate precision equipment for medical device parts. You will read drawings, program with Mastercam, and ensure parts meet tight specifications.

Maintain tooling and processes, emphasize quality, and collaborate in a fast-paced manufacturing team. We value attention to detail, proactive problem solving, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical CNC certification or equivalent experience.
Typically 2–5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment (medical device or aerospace preferred).
Some CNC programming, setup, and operation ability.
Knowledge of machining processes, tooling selection, and materials.
Experience with CAM software and CAD/CAM integration.
Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving for continuous improvement.
Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM equipment.
Interpret drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
Read CNC programs using Mastercam.
Perform tool changes and adjustments to achieve required dimensions and surface finishes.
Monitor processes and adjust for quality and efficiency.
Conduct in-process inspections with precision measuring instruments.
Maintain machines and tooling; perform routine maintenance and keep area clean.
Adhere to safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements for medical device manufacturing.
