Job summary

The Entwistle Company is seeking a skilled and motivated Machinist A to advance a long-term career within our collaborative and innovative environment. You will help deliver mission-critical components supporting U.S.

and allied defense, applying your expertise to meet precise specifications and quality standards. Key responsibilities include creating tool setups for complex parts, selecting feeds and speeds, and maintaining tooling and measurement devices.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints, instructions, specs and drawings.
• Ability to set up machining of complex parts with tight tolerances.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement set-ups for machining of complex, tight-tolerance parts.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisors and Engineering for First Part production.
• Select feeds, speeds, and work holding to maintain tolerances and surface finishes.
• Maintain tooling and measuring devices for accurate tolerances.
• Safely operate overhead cranes to move parts through machining areas.
• Inspect parts and record inspection results as required.
• Complete daily machine maintenance and keep the work area clean.
• Contribute to a culture of safety and follow health and safety procedures.
