The Entwistle Company in Hudson, MA is seeking a skilled Machinist A to operate large CNC mills and produce mission-critical components for defense applications. You will read blueprints, set up machines, select feeds and tooling, and inspect work to meet tight tolerances.

Qualifikationen

• Formal trade or technical training in machining or precision manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection practices.

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate large CNC horizontal/vertical mills for a range of complex tasks.
• Interpret blueprints and instructions to machine aluminum, steel, castings, forgings, plates, and weldments.
• Select feeds, speeds, tools and work holding to meet tight tolerances and quality finishes.
• Use precision measuring tools to set up and inspect work and verify conformance.
• Review work to ensure compliance with customer and military requirements.
• Operate overhead cranes to position large parts safely.
• Maintain production records and keep the workspace clean and organized.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and perform related duties.
