Entwistle Company is seeking a skilled machinist to set up and operate large CNC lathes for precision machining of castings, forgings, and custom parts. You will ensure tight tolerances, program and edit controls, and inspect parts with precision tools to meet quality standards.

Join a collaborative team supporting DoD, prime, and foreign military customers. Experience with Mazak/Okuma lathes and a strong focus on quality and teamwork is essential in this production-driven environment.

Competenze

• 3–5 years of machining experience or equivalent technical training.
• 3–5 years setting up CNC and manual lathes.
• Programming experience preferred (comfortable editing/creating programs).
• Consistent quality in fast-paced, production-driven work.
• Strong problem-solving and team orientation.
• Military experience welcomed.

Mansioni

• Set up and run engine and large CNC lathes to machine castings, forgings, plates, bars, and custom one-offs.
• Hold specified dimensions and tight tolerances on large parts.
• Program and edit at the control to optimize accuracy and efficiency.
• Inspect with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision tools to meet quality standards.
