Ezeflow USA, Inc. – Flowline Division in New Castle, PA is seeking an experienced Manual and/or CNC Lathe Machinist to join our manufacturing team.

The role involves setting up machines, selecting tooling, and performing precision inspections to hold tight tolerances. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of manual or CNC lathe experience and can read engineering drawings with GD&T, use precision measuring equipment, and independently set up machines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Manual and/or CNC Lathe experience.
• Ability to hold tolerances of ±0.002” (0.05 mm).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Proficient in using precision measuring equipment.
• Independently set up machines, select tooling, and perform precision inspections.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints or job orders for specifications, tooling instructions, feeds, speeds, depths and tools.
• Positions and secures tools in holders.
• Lifts and secures the workpiece in holding devices or fixtures.
• Sets rotation speed, feed rate and depth of cut, and positions tool relative to workpiece.
• Starts machine, adjusts feeds, and directs coolant flow to tool and workpiece.
• Monitors cutting action for wear or malfunction and ensures conformance to specs.
• Scribes reference lines and computes surface dimensions and machine settings.
• Operates forklift as needed.

Job Details

Job Location: NEW CASTLE, PA 16101Ezeflow USA, Inc. – Flowline Division is seeking an experienced Manual and/or CNC Lathe Machinist to join our manufacturing team located in New Castle, PA.

The Precision Machinist role plays a key part in our production process by independently setting up machines, selecting tooling, and preforming precision inspections.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience setting up and operating Manual or CNC Lathe machines with the ability to hold tolerances of ±0.002”.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

• Reads blueprints or job order for specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, tooling instructions on holding devices, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cuts, and cutting tools
• Positions and secures tools in holders
• Lifts workpiece manually or with hoist, and positions and secures workpiece in holding device, machine table, chuck, centers, or fixtures
• Sets specified rotation speed, feed rate, and depth of cut, and positions tool in relation to workpiece
• Starts machine, turns handwheels to feed tool to workpiece, and engages feed
• Turns valve handle to direct flow of coolant against tool and workpiece
• Observes cutting action of machine to detect excessive wear or malfunction
• Verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications
• Scribes reference lines on workpiece to lay out interrelated surfaces, lengths, and depths of cut
• Computes unspecified dimensions and machine settings
• Operates forklift

Work Schedule

• Second Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• Overtime as needed when production needs dictate overtime is required to fulfil customer delivery expectations

Qualifications

• Ability to hold tolerances of ±0.002”
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings & GD&T
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring equipment
• Ability to independently set up machines, select tooling, and perform precision inspections
• Capable of scoring 80% or higher on our machining test

Pay: $21.50 to $25.00/hour based upon prior experience
