Job summary

LISI Aerospace is seeking a General Operator I to operate production machinery and precisely measure parts to meet company targets. The role covers drilling, milling, deburr, stamping, assembly, and related tasks, with strict adherence to SOPs, blueprints, and quality standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts with precision tools, recording inspection data, and reporting any defects. Candidates should have a high school diploma and up to 2 years in manufacturing; safety and 5S

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• 0–2 years in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or specifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates secondary production machines under supervision and follows SOPs and work instructions.
• Observes machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Reads blueprint or MO for product specs, tooling and tolerances.
• Inspects products with calipers, micrometers, scales, or templates for conformance.
• Records in-process inspection data, meter readings and production times.
• Stops machines or informs supervisor to address non-conformances.
• Operates Shop Floor System and records MO information.
• Performs minor machine maintenance and routine cleaning.
• Reports malfunctioning equipment and non-conformances to leadership.
• Performs data entry, housekeeping and adheres to safety rules.
