Job summary

LISI Aerospace is seeking a General Operator I to operate the production machines and accurately measure parts to meet company targets and standards. You will perform drilling, milling, trimming, tapping, crimping, vision, stamping, marking, deburr, punch press, EDM and assembly, and hand assembly while maintaining competency through regular skill assessments.

You will read blueprints or MO for specifications, inspect with calipers and micrometers, and record data in the Shop Floor System.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints or MO for product specifications, tolerances and tooling.
• Inspects parts using calipers and micrometers to verify conformance.
• Records in-process inspection data and machine readings for traceability.

Responsibilities

• Operates secondary production machines under supervision and follows SOPs.
• Observes machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Reads MO/blueprints for product specs and tooling instructions.
• Inspects products with calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions.
• Records inspection data and machine readings in the Shop Floor System.
• Stops machines and informs Lead/Supervisor when non-conformances occur.
• Performs basic machine maintenance and daily housekeeping.
• Complies with safety rules, 5S, and HSE procedures.
