Job summary

The role requires blueprint reading, basic math, inventory awareness, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Candidates should have HS diploma or GED and forklift certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities include inspection, TPM, data recording, and daily 5S activities, with team collaboration to meet production standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints.
• Must have good understanding of inventory control.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must have or be able to obtain a fork truck license.
• Must recognize the importance of working in a safe manner.
• Ability to understand what constitutes quality products.
• Possess basic math skills.
• Average or above average skills in numeric and visual recall.
• Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts as necessary to meet production standards.
• Perform source inspection using traveling check sheet on every unit.
• Perform daily TPM.
• Uses stop the line authority at any sign of safety or quality concerns.
• Performs daily duties per work instructions / standard work.
• Completes all daily data collection as established.
• Must perform daily 5S activities.
