Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; prior manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
• Dependable with good attendance and flexible availability.
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Able to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor; can lift 10–50 pounds.
• Strict adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Learn industrial math, print reading, and machining theory relevant to your department.
• Under supervision, learn department-specific skills and processes.
• Load raw material into machines and unload finished parts.
• Perform basic deburring on parts.
• Read micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions.
• Learn safety practices, sawing, drilling, materials, turning, and speeds and feeds.
• Operate lathes and milling machines safely, following the sequence of operation.
• Coordinate with coworkers and leaders to receive instructions.
