Job summary

Rempco is seeking a precision-minded estimator to transform RFQs and technical specs into accurate, competitive quotes. You will review prints, 3D CAD models, and customer requirements to outline routing, cycle times, and materials, while building a complete cost structure in the ERP/quoting system.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret complex drawings, specs, and RFQs.
• Strong numerical skills for cost estimation and quotes.
• Experience turning technical data into clear proposals.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical documentation: drawings, 3D models, RFQs, specs.
• Estimate routing and cycle times for CNC/milling/turning and fabrication.
• Calculate material, hardware, and outside processing needs (heat treat, chroming).
• Assemble labor, material, and manufacturing costs in ERP/quoting system.
• Coordinate with production and engineering to validate lead times.
• Maintain pricing/historical data in ERP/quoting system.
• Contact customers, respond quickly, and explain constraints clearly.

Now we’re adding a precision-minded estimator who loves turning technical detail into clear, competitive quotations.Your Day, SimplifiedYou’ll start by reviewing incoming RFQs—prints, 3D CAD models, and customer specifications—translating them into accurate plans and numbers. You’ll outline routing and cycle times for milling, turning, CNC and manual machining, and fabrication, then determine materials, hardware, and any external processes (think heat treat, chroming, and more).
