Job summary

Methode Electronics is seeking a manufacturing operator in Rolling Meadows, IL, to set up and run production machines and ensure product conformity. You will participate in first-time setups for new products, make adjustments to reach quality goals, perform manual tasks, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities include inspecting outputs, conducting routine maintenance, and assisting with labeling and component handling as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2+ years operating and setting up machines, or zero with specialized training.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and changeover machines to produce required products.
• Perform first-time setup for new products via programming and adjustments.
• Operate equipment to meet production and quality goals.
• Make minor adjustments to fix output as needed.
• Perform manual production tasks such as labeling and loading.
• Visually inspect output to ensure workmanship standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance as per manuals and instructions.
• Keep work area clean and follow safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
