Job summary

Methode Electronics Inc. is seeking a Turret Operator 1 for the 1st shift in Rolling Meadows, IL. You will set up and operate a CNC turret punch press to fabricate sheet metal parts and perform first-time setups for new products.

You will inspect finished components with precision tools, perform routine maintenance, and maintain a clean, safe work area while meeting production schedules. Forklift readiness is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC turret punch press machines.
• Ability to read blueprints or drawings.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Set up/changeover on CNC turret punch press to produce required products by adjusting tooling/dies.
• Perform first-time set-ups for new products through programming and adjustments.
• Operate equipment to meet production and quality goals; make minor adjustments as needed.
• Perform manual production tasks such as loading/unloading stock and deburring finished parts.
• Inspect outputs using calipers, micrometers, gauges to verify specifications.
