Job summary

ProAmpac in White House, TN is seeking an Industrial Machine Setup & Calibration Specialist to join our rapidly growing team. You will be hands-on with converting equipment, ensuring production targets and quality specs are met, and performing set-ups, adjustments and initial inspections.

You will work 12-hour rotating nights or days, with safety training and benefits including PTO, holidays, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Proven machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of related machine operation experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with measuring tools.
• Comfort with computers and business equipment; OSHA standards training completed.

Responsibilities

• Run and monitor converting equipment to meet production targets and quality specs.
• Verify each scheduled job before setup; complete all machine set-ups and adjustments.
• Order and stage components per shop orders.
• Prepare materials: unwrap, trim, and ready rolls for shafting.
• Maintain glue levels in pans, drums, or hot-melt applicator hoppers.
• Execute First Article of Inspection at bag set-ups.
• Perform 30-minute bag teardowns, visual checks, and fine-tune settings to sustain bag quality.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and audit-ready.
• Report substandard materials and any mechanical/electrical repair needs immediately.
