Job summary

ProAmpac in White House, TN is hiring for a machine operator role. The position requires proven machine operating experience, ability to read measuring tools, and adherence to safety training standards.

Work involves 12-hour rotating shifts (7pm-7am or 7am-7pm) and rigorous quality checks to keep production running smoothly. We offer a bonus structure, PTO, holidays, 401k, and comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree from an accredited college preferred.
• Minimum of two years of machine operating experience in a related industry.
• Mechanically inclined and able to read measuring tools.
• Must complete Safety Orientation, departmental safety training and OSHA standards training.
• Experience with computers and business equipment preferred.
• Hazardous Waste Management training required annually.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall machine operation and performance.
• Verify scheduled production orders before setup.
• Order components per shop order requirements.
• Perform machine setups and adjustments as needed.
• Unwrap, trim, and prepare rolls for shafting.
• Monitor glue levels in pans/hoses and maintain cleanliness.
• Prepare for next scheduled orders and maintain area cleanliness.
• Perform First Article Inspection at bag set-ups and bag tear-downs.
• Notify management of substandard materials or needed repairs.
