Job summary

JBS in Ohio Mason is seeking a Machine Saw GL3 Operator Team Member to ensure precise adjustments and basic troubleshooting. You will modify programs based on equipment and customer needs, serving as the final quality checkpoint before products reach customers while upholding safety and GMP standards.

Starting pay is $22 per hour with benefits including vacation, medical, dental and vision, 401(k), onsite cafeteria, and career development opportunities. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• 2+ years’ production industry experience preferred.
• Must understand and comply with company, plant and safety rules/policies.
• Basic understanding of production and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work area for pre- and post-operational activities.
• Load, unload and transfer product to/from equipment and conveyors.
• Monitor lines, identify issues and replenish packaging materials.
• Sort, weigh, wrap, label and verify product to meet specifications.
• Inspect and remove defective products or packaging materials.
• Operate pallet jack/forklift; perform safety checks and setup/teardown.
