Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a GL3 Machine Saw Operator (Beef) for the 2nd shift in Mason, OH. The position starts at $22 per hour with a $1 shift differential.

The associate must make precise adjustments, troubleshoot, and modify/create programs based on equipment and product needs. Responsibilities include preparing the work area, loading/unloading, monitoring lines, inspecting products, and maintaining GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in General Production 2.
• Basic understanding of production and procedures.
• Ability to use knives, saws, and a variety of machinery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work area for pre- and post-operational activities.
• Load, unload, and transfer product to and from equipment.
• Monitor production lines, identify issues, supply and replenish packaging materials as necessary.
• Sort, weigh, wrap, label, verify or measure product to meet specifications.
• Inspect and remove defective products and/or packaging materials from the process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Set up and tear down equipment, and adjust settings as needed.
• Identify safety concerns or hazards and report them.
