Job summary

JBS USA in Mason, OH is seeking a Machine Saw GL3 Operator Team Member. The position starts at $22 per hour with a $1 shift differential and requires precision adjustments, basic troubleshooting, and the ability to modify and/or create programs based on equipment, product and customer needs.

You will be the final quality checkpoint before the product reaches internal and external customers, and you must communicate information effectively while performing all duties safely in line with food

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficiency in general production practices and safety policies.
• Experience with machinery or production environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work area for pre- and post-operational activities.
• Load, unload, and transfer product to and from equipment and conveyors.
• Monitor production lines, identify issues, supply and replenish packaging materials as necessary.
• Sort, weigh, wrap, label, verify or measure product to meet specifications.
• Inspect and remove defective products or packaging materials from the process.
• Perform setup and teardown of equipment; adjust settings as required.
• Operate pallet jack or forklift in safe manner when needed.
• Follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and report safety concerns.
