Job summary

JBS USA is seeking an hourly Machine Saw GL3 Operator Team Member. The position starts at $22 per hour and offers on-site work with full production floor duties. You will prepare, monitor, and adjust workflows, operate cutting machines, and ensure safe handling of materials.

Responsibilities include setup/teardown, quality checks, and addressing any safety concerns. This role requires readiness for overtime and adherence to all plant policies while maintaining a clean, organized workspace on the

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in General Production 2.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• 2+ years’ production industry experience preferred.
• Must understand and comply with company, plant, and safety rules/policies.
• Basic understanding of production and procedures.
• Ability to use knives, saws, and a variety of machinery.
• Ability to lift, load, cut and package product with both arms and hands.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work area for pre- and post-operational activities.
• Load, unload, and transfer product to and from equipment.
• Monitor production lines, identify issues, supply and replenish packaging materials as necessary.
• Sort, weigh, wrap, label, verify or measure product to meet product specifications.
• Inspect and remove defective products and/or packaging materials from the process.
• Arrive at your workstation prepared to perform tasks at a scheduled time, and staying until work is complete.
• Overtime may be necessary and is required when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Set up, tear down of equipment, selection of pre-determined settings and use proper lifting techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Identify any safety concerns and report them.
• Perform safety checklist and ability to operate pallet jack/riders/forklift equipment.
• Modify and create program settings to meet production standards.
• Provide machine adjustments and troubleshooting when required.
• Other duties as assigned
