Job summary

DEM Elevating Equipment is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join the production team. The role involves setting up and operating drill presses and hydraulic punches while ensuring quality and precision in all parts.

Applicants with machining experience or a willingness to train are encouraged to apply; strong reading of blueprints and attention to tolerances are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Machining or related experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate drill press machines to drill, tap, ream, or countersink metal and other materials.
• Operate hydraulic punch machines to cut, shape, and punch metal parts.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine production requirements.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and tolerances.
• Measure with calipers and gauges to verify accuracy.
• Collaborate with team to meet production schedules and deadlines.
