Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Operator to join our team in a fast-paced machine shop environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machines to produce precision metal parts and components according to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual machines (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.)
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders
• Monitor machining operations and adjust settings as necessary
• Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Maintain clean and organized workstations
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and notify maintenance if needed
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Familiarity with CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas) is a plus, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Willingness to work and pride in your work
