Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; tech school training preferred.
• Hands-on operating experience in CNC Swiss lathe machining (Tsugami, Star, or Citizen).
• Experience holding tight tolerances and set-up experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication of job instructions.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail with precision equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Swiss lathe machines.
• Trouble shoot and diagnose machine performance and ensure produced parts meet specification.
• Make appropriate offsets and adjust tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Properly use calipers, verniers, and thread gauges.
• Properly and safely load and unload machines.
• Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machines.
• Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
• Utilize and abide by all safety procedures.
