Job summary

MW Components, Inc. seeks a Machine Operator to set up and operate a production machine following established procedures.

You will use computer-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines, and adjust settings to complete tasks accurately and on schedule. Candidates should have working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems, basic shop math, and the ability to read work orders and setup instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience in production and quality control methods (ISO9001, AS9100 etc.) preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing implementation and production systems helpful.
• Moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of machines to produce parts conforming to print requirements, may include basic program adjustments to meet quality and schedule requirements.
• Set up and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
• Can simultaneously operate two or more machines when practical and necessary.
