Job summary

Alfa Laval in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma seeks a Machine Operator to run conventional and special‑purpose machines, fabricating structural parts with precision. You’ll apply shop theory, math, and layout techniques to improve quality and efficiency on the production floor.

You will read blueprints, set up and operate equipment, measure with calipers, and move parts with cranes or forklifts. A high school diploma or GED is required; 1 year manufacturing experience and crane/forklift exposure are

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
About 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
Basic math skills including the ability to read a tape measure and calipers.
Experience reading blueprints preferred.
Experience using industrial machines preferred.
Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Read blueprints or instructions for job specifications.
Set up, operate, and maintain machines, including loading, machining, unloading, and de-burring.
Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions for accuracy.
Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments.
Replace and install machined parts, ensuring proper functionality.
May install machined replacement parts into mechanisms, equipment and test operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance.
