Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking an Assembler I in Broken Arrow, OK to assemble products by positioning and installing components per drawings and instructions. You will use hand and power tools, read blueprints, and verify assemblies with precision measuring devices.

The role includes assisting training, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to safety policies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will contribute to assembling coolers, perform tube installation, operate equipment like saws

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of professional experience related to manufacturing preferred.
• Basic math skills including the ability to read a tape measure and calipers required.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints preferred.
• Experience using industrial machines preferred.
• Forklift operation certification preferred.
• Overhead crane experience preferred.
• Demonstrates proficiency in equipment such as radial drills, fin tube machinery, large vertical band saws, presses, breaks and shears.

Responsibilities

• Positions parts and subassemblies by reading blueprints and instructions.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit.
• Operates hand and power tools to connect parts.
• Performs tube installation and rolling operations.
• Maintains a clean work area and follows safety policies.
• Supports training of new employees as needed.
• Reads blueprints or instructions for job specifications.
• Uses cutting tools and presses to fabricate parts as required.
