Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Jackson, TN is seeking a Machine Operator for day or night shifts. You will operate blade manufacturing equipment, heat-treat systems, and safely move loads with overhead cranes to support production goals.

You will perform routine PMs and quality checks, maintain multiple machines, and handle required paperwork while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Machine operator experience required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Standing for 8–10 hours and lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate blade manufacturing equipment, including start-up/shutdown and restart after stoppages.
• Operate and monitor high temperature furnaces and other heat-treat equipment.
• Safely operate and move heavy loads on overhead crane and mobile equipment.
• Perform cleaning, basic PM, minor changeovers, and tooling adjustments.
• Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, indicators and gauges.
• Perform operator PM and maintain lubrication and coolant levels.
• Maintain and operate multiple machines concurrently.
• Complete necessary forms and paperwork.
