Job summary

OSI Group seeks a production operator to run and monitor manufacturing equipment per daily schedules in a food processing setting. You will calibrate systems, record temperatures, and troubleshoot minor issues while coordinating with maintenance for preventive upkeep. This role demands adherence to safety policies and quality requirements.

As an individual contributor, you will handle data entry, operate with precision, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Able to read and follow written specifications and recipes.
• Understanding of measurement units and blueprint/schematic reading.
• Ability to analyze data and make basic recommendations.
• Good communication and instruction-following skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of machinery as directed by leadership.
• Set up equipment daily according to production schedule and sanitize at day end.
• Monitor operations, troubleshoot minor issues, and notify supervision for major problems.
• Record data, calibrate systems, and interpret temperatures and product parameters.
• Work with maintenance to implement preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and comply with policies.
• Take ownership of equipment and follow safety and GMP rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
