Job summary

Debbie’s Staffing is recruiting a Machine Operator for our client in Attleboro, MA. You will operate precision machinery, inspect parts, and help maintain high quality standards while meeting production targets.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, and working 10-hour shifts with possible weekend work. Forklift/overhead crane certification is a plus. Training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting safety rules, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
• Basic mathematical calculations for measurements and data entry.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Flexibility to work 10-hour shifts and occasional weekends as required by customer demands.
• Public safety and quality standards adherence.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety regulations and PPE; maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics.
• Participate in kaizen events and Level 3 improvement activities.
• Follow work instructions and customer specifications to produce parts.
• Machine parts, perform inspections, and adjust machinery to tolerances.
• Meet quality targets while achieving production goals.
• Complete production reports accurately, manually and electronically.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or material defects.
• Assist in training new associates.
