Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services seeks a Machine Operator for a Fort Wayne manufacturer specializing in large-diameter U-Bolts and heavy-duty fasteners. You will set up and operate production machinery across departments, following specifications and quality standards.

Shift options include first shift 6:00 AM–4:00 PM with a second shift available; pay is $18.00 per hour. Emphasis on safety, quality, and attendance, with training offered to applicants with basic mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and a good work ethic.
• Ability to read, use basic measuring instruments (tape measure, calipers, micrometers).
• Basic math skills – addition, subtraction, and measurement conversions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and monitors assigned production machinery according to job specifications.
• Loads and unloads raw material and finished parts safely and efficiently.
• Inspects parts throughout the production run using gauges and calipers to verify conformance to specifications.
• Maintains accurate production, quality, and downtime records.
