Martin Engineering in Neponset, IL, is seeking a Production Machine Operator to run multiple machines (lathe, punch press, saw, press brake, etc.) and inspect parts using precision tools to meet ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities include loading programs, materials and tooling, troubleshooting, reading blueprints, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Prior machine experience and blueprint-reading ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have machine operation experience and attention to precision.
• Experience reading blueprints and using precision instruments.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operates machines to produce parts meeting quality standards and timelines.
• Loads programs, material, tooling and troubleshoots machine issues.
• Saws materials to required sizes for welding, forming or machining.
• Calculates machine adjustments and material usage.
• Reads blueprints, drawings and BOMs to produce required parts.
• Operates overhead 5 ton bay crane.
• Sets up and operates various equipment per ISO 9001 standards.
• Maintains clean, orderly work area and follows safety rules.
