Afinitas is hiring a Machine Operator to operate and program saws for automatic cutting, ensuring quality and safety standards. You will read prints, perform preventative maintenance, and support production in a plant environment.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a team setting, with adherence to Afinitas quality practices and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Qualified operator for all three saws.
• Read prints and complete miters to Hawkeye standards.
• Setup and program all three saws for automatic cutting operations.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Startup and shut down machines as recommended by maintenance.
• Operate the machine to meet Afinitas quality standards.
• Operate in a safe and productive manner.
• Perform required preventative maintenance.
• Read prints and complete miters meeting Afinitas standards.
• Setup and program saws for automatic cutting operations.
• All other duties as assigned.
