Job summary

Afinitas is hiring for a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment. You will start and shutdown machines per maintenance guidance, read prints, and set up saws for auto cutting operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will work in a plant setting with PPE, have strong interpersonal skills, and collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain Afinitas quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Startup and shutdown machines as recommended by maintenance
• Operate the machine in such a manner to meet Afinitas quality standards
• Operate the machine in both a safe and productive manner
• Perform required preventative maintenance
• Read prints and complete miters meeting Afinitas standards
• Setup and program saws for automatic cutting operations
• All other duties as assigned
