Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a Machine Operator in Gallatin, TN to keep equipment running, perform minor setups, and troubleshoot issues. The role reports to the Department Manager and overtime may be required. Work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00am–3:30pm with overtime as needed.

Primary duties include inspecting products using blueprints, changing tools, maintaining machines, and operating a forklift to move materials. Relocation is not offered, and 0% travel is expected.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience reading blueprints.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Mechanical ability & safety. Prioritizes safe work practices and a safe environment.

Responsabilidades

• Use blueprints to perform visual product inspections and verify conformance to print specifications.
• Change tools and adjust machines back to proper specifications.
• Perform housekeeping and daily machine maintenance and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
• Drive a forklift to retrieve raw materials or deliver finished products to the outbound area.
