Simpson Strong-Tie in Gallatin, TN is seeking a dependable Shipper/Receiver to manage shipping, receiving, and stocking finished goods. The role operates Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm with overtime as needed. You will handle pallets, labels, bills of lading, and ensure accuracy of shipments.

Requires a High School diploma or GED, forklift certification, and 1 year of warehouse/shipping experience preferred. Safe work practices and reliable attendance are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
• 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience preferred.
• Operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.
• Ability to promote a safe work environment.
• Proficiency in basic math and measurements.

Aufgaben

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet.
• Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment.
• Ensure incoming/outgoing shipments meet packaging, customer, and quality standards.
• Receive, stock, and rotate product; locate finished inventory.
• Create shipping documents: labels, packing lists, bills of lading.
• Maintain a clean work environment and perform other duties as assigned.
