Job summary

Viant Medical is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd or 3rd shift in Wheeling, IL. You will operate manufacturing equipment, ensure product quality, and meet production targets in a climate-controlled facility.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of machine operation experience, and ability to read blueprints and perform basic shop math. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating machines in manufacturing preferred.
• Basic knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints/operation sheets and perform basic shop math.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates machinery and equipment used in manufacturing products.
• Follows work and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Loads materials into tools for production.
• Inspects parts visually and dimensionally to meet requirements.
• Performs basic setup and operation of manual machines as needed.
• Maintains machine maintenance and log.
• Adheres to SOPs, travelers, routers, prints, and deviations.
• Keeps machinery clean and well-maintained.
• Performs other duties as required.
