Job summary

Viant Medical Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd/3rd shifts to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment for medical devices. The role involves loading materials, inspecting parts, and following SOPs to ensure product quality and production goals are met.

The position requires basic blueprint reading, shop math, and good communication skills. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, PTO and holidays, and a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must have basic knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection equipment and techniques.
• Basic shop math skills required.
• Working knowledge of reading basic blueprints and/or operation sheets.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with small precision parts.

Responsibilities

• Operates machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing of products.
• Follows all required work and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Loads component materials into product specific tools.
• Inspects parts visually and dimensionally to assure conformance to requirements.
• Performs basic set-up and operation of manual machines when required.
• Maintains machine maintenance and log.
• Follows established documentation for product manufacturing, including SOPs/work instructions, travelers, routers, prints and deviations.
• Cleans and maintains machinery as necessary.
• Performs other functions as required.

Shift Hours (includes 20 min paid lunch; Monday-Friday workweek)

2nd shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

3rd shift:10:00 pm – 6:00 am

We offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $19.00-$23.00/hour, 10% shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
